It really depends on the lettering on your tire, can be a long process. IMHO

Put it on the letters stand back and see what you think. Wash it off and if you liked it buy the paint and go for it. Myself I like satin black tires a shiny car and shiny wheels. I don't like shiny black, w/w, or lettered tires. The only thing I have white letter tires on is my dodge truck and there on the inside with black paint on them.
