Hello everyone. I understand I am new here but I am here to help the owner of the company I work for. The owner of the company Len Yagatich had a custom prowler and this is one part that never made it on. He was a member here and passed away about 5 years ago. He helped design and had someone build this custom stack injection style intake for him before he passed. It is complete and BRAND NEW, but it has not been tested out. I am sure the vehicle would need some custom tuning to make sure it ran well. I will post several pictures of it below. We are asking $2,000.00 or best offer. |

Custom tuning and the word prowler SADLY don't go together. For whatever reason, it's never been a thing here. I dunno if it's cause most prowler owners are older or what. But I wish we had custom tuning available. |

I am surprised about that. Do they use a factory wideband? When it was Designed there was no talks about custom tuning, but I come from the Mustang world where we have to retune for everything... |

quote: I am not sure about wideband. Perhaps a question for RPL to answer. I come from BMW and audi's where custom tuning brings the car to life. I admit, however, I am one of the youngest on these forums and perhaps tuning is more of a generation thing? I would love to hear what RPL or some of the seasoned kat owners say about tuning. I understand, at one point, a supercharger was available for the prowler. So perhaps one of those guys will know about tuning. |

I once had a line on Chrysler made triple throttle body set up that was made for a slightly modified stock Prowler Plenum. This was a set up that was either similar or the same as what was on the Test Mule iScream Prowler, which also had a stoker motor. At the last minute the guy said he could not sell it to me because he learned it would not function without the computer programming to support it. I think this custom stack injection style intake being offered is magnificent. But my concern would be will it work without computer programming to support it? I hope someone more technical savvy than I am would jump in on this. I wish it was still the good old days when you could bolt on a multiple carb set and you were good to go. I remember when this first appeared here on the POA but there was never any follow up. This message has been edited by BeWare on 05-12-2016 at 04:50 PM |

Sorry, I forgot to check the thread. This was meant to stay just below the hood so you do not have to cut it if you do not want too. his original design had them going straight up through the hood but he changed it to this. One thing I did not mention is there is between $8-10,000 tied up into this intake. Yes I know its not worth that but it truly is a one off custom designed and build piece. I will look for the CAD info on it as well. |

The one thing I see that is not a good thing is, The intake air will not be filtered, and dirt will enter the intake. Has this been noted ? This would NOT be a good option for every day or weekend driving. This message has been edited by phil2237 on 05-16-2016 at 08:51 AM |

It has Screens for the stacks that are removable. Also they make cone filter drop ins for this type of injection. |

Well the 1st post (mine) at top of page three was prophetic: "Thanks for the quick reply Al. I am hesitant to put a 150 HP N20 shot on without doing something to the fuel delivery. I REALLY don't want to have to rent a trailer to haul the KAT home from Louisiana in October" AND in October I blew he engine in Louisiana and Bob/CJ followed us all eh way to Kentucky at a slow pace just in case we needed to use their trailer. Some tuning has been done on Prowler ECUs but it was and I assume still is limited to some outlaw tuning that Chrysler did not know about. |
