my socket set is at the barn so I have them to work on the dart and I had to look thru the tools in the tool box. The only one I could find was 1/2" drive and I couldn't find my 3" extention, or a 13mm wrench, BUT they are one and work great!

You are so right! Only I ask myself why didn't I start making these sooner. I've had the concept for over 3 years and just never did anything with it.
About a year and a half ago, I saw something similar in Jim Clayton's car that his son made for him out of wood. We both agreed that it would be a good item to have but I just never put them into production due to other projects. Even now, they were designed to be a secondary product to locate my new KatRacks while stowed in the trunk. After making some test pieces I saw just how much need for these there is and decided to make them a stand-alone product.
I should have made them when I first had the idea.

I am going to send you a check for a pair. Look great. What do you think a set of Chrome bolts would look like on these ? I notice the bolts are painted and taking them off removes some of the paint..... do you think chrome would look good ? Hope all is well. take care and hopefully I'll see you soon.
