Here is what I'm planning to do on the way to and from the Eureka Springs event this Fall. Leaving Pittsburgh PA on Saturday 10/19 and returning home Tuesday 10/29. In the process of planning hotel stays as follows:

10/19 Paducah KY
10/20 Arrive in Eureka Springs
10/20-10/26 Prowlin' the Ozarks
10/26 Natchez MS (Start of the Natchez Trace)
10/27 Florence AL
10/28 Parkersburg WV
10/29 Arrive home in PA

Stay tuned and hope some of you can join me along the way!

Steve

Steve I am familiar with the road from Tallulah La. to Natchez Ms. and it is not the best of roads. That is delta country and the fall is harvest time which means the road will be full of cotton trucks, farm equipment and wagons plus dirt and mud if it rains. Might I suggest taking I-20 east out of Talluah to Vicksburg then US-61 south to Natchez. It would add about 15 miles to the trip but the road is much better ( 4 lanes for most of it)and the terrain is prettier to boot.
