For many of you that are traveling in for next months Woodard Dream Cruise event. I need to give you some bridge repair going on with a road closed that will change your GPS routing. The road Opdyke, which is the road the Hyatt hotel is on, and the road you normally have gone south on from the hotel to get to Woodward is to be closed until October where it crosses M-59, unless your car can fly I will give you a different road to use as either you come and go to Woodward on your own or will be traveling with us down Woodward to the two museums in Detroit on Friday. The first main light south of the Hotel is University, make a right going southwest and that will dump you on to Woodward, make a right at the northern part of the cruise. That road does a loop around heading south on Woodward. Coming back off Woodward after the day, make sure to go to University and not Opdyke like the GPS will be telling you. If I can get these guys to fix the bridge faster, I will keep you posted.

On Friday morning at 10:00 we will be at the Ford Piquette Car plant in Detroit, home of the Model T. That address is 461 Piquette Ave. Cost is $12, Seniors $10. After Lunch we will go down the street, 2648 West Grand Blvd. to The Motown Museum Home of Hitsville U.S.A. We do not have 20 people comitted to going to this so we are unable to get a group rate. Limited tickets will be offered to us, but NEED TO BE PURCHASED on line starting this Friday at a cost of $15 Adults, and $10 for Seniors for a 1:00 tour. They only have a limited amount of tickets since this time of year it is busy, and amount of room in the buildings. Just go to their home page to order tickets.
