Mike & Kim - looks like you all have been busy with planning since you left us in Louisville. I am still trying to look at my work schedule for that timeframe. It looks like if we can make it, Rebecca would have to drive from Louisville and I would have to fly in directly from a job site (again) - this time in Aneheim. We will look at the scheduling after we return form Colorado. Regards Marty ------------------ Driving my Dream |

Marty, Yes, indeed, we have been busy...we were inspired by the great job you and Rebecca did in KY. Really hope you two can join us. The drive won't be that bad...it's about 620 miles from Louisville to the hotel. As far as you flying in...the three closest airports would be Harrisburg, Philadelphia and BWI (in order of closeness to Lancaster). If your flight arrives before Rebecca, we can make arrangements to get you picked-up at the airport. I look forward to seeing both of you again. PS. Why don't you drag Gary & Kelly along, too. ------------------ |

Mike/Kim - we are still trying to figure out work schedules and driving arrangements. Caught one break and talked a co-worker in to staying a day longer in Aneheim and covering for me, so looks like I may be able to leave there late on Aug 8 or early Aug 9th and fly directly to the East Coast. Gene and all, Glad to see so much interest being generated in the event and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again...or for the first time. I know you understand that it was not my goal to pick an expensive hotel; but I did want to find a host facility that would best suit what I believe to be our needs: reserved, secured parking, car wash area, lounge and restaurant with a gas station and fast food just next door and is centrally located for ease of access to all of the planned activities. This was the least expensive of the hotels that were able to meet our needs and takes into consideration we are in peak tourist season. Additionally, the room rate posted is inclusive of all taxes and fees and Includes a private breakfast on Sunday. While I can understand those of you coming as a complete family want to save some money, it's also important that we stay as central as possible so all planned activities can be easily coordinated. If our group is scattered, it will be most difficult to accomplish sign-in and registration as well staging of the group for the festivities. If you're planning to attend, and you haven't already done so, please send me an Email as I've outlined above so that I have an accurate record of ProwLancaster attendees and also your preferance for railroad car seating. Please note I have edited the original post to now include the list of atendees which will be updated as I hear from folks. Thanks in advance. ------------------ |

Mike, My wife and I will be in Lancaster. However, when I made reservations at the hotel, they told me the POA rooms were all taken. We will get there later Friday evening and will not make the museum tour. Wayne Nicarry "ptcruiser" |

Mike, Thanks, I just spoke with Tammy and got my room straightened out. Those coming over and having problems with the reservations may want to speak to either her or someone in sales. Thanks again and see you in August.

Mike, I wasn't trying to be the "odd man out", just trying to conserve my mod (er, drinkin!) money. Add me to the list Gene Cox(MeanGene) 99 Red 8/9-8/11 - 4 people - seating(next to Fixumm) ------------------ This message has been edited by MeanGene on 06-20-2002 at 10:38 AM |

Gene - Motel 6 doesn't have a lounge. Your taxi fees to and from host hotel (we know you don't drink and drive ) will cost you more than you are saving on the room! Hope to see you there! Marty ------------------ Driving my Dream |
