At my advanced age, I asked a friend to help me get this done.
Timing belt kit with metal impeller water pump.
Radiator hoses.
Heater hoses.
Power steering hose was leaking. Replaced
Oil sending unit crushed as we removed it. Replaced.
PVC Hose was brittle. Replaced.
New alternator.
Secondary Runner Valve leaking. Replaced.
Radiator flush and new antifreeze.
Replaced inner boots on the right axle. (Same problem as Koolkity had. Axle was in good shape).

Things to do yet: Change transmission fluid. 3rd time.
Tires to replace the 10 year old ones with less than 10,000 miles on them. I have been reluctant to drive it lately due to old timing belt, but the belt appeared in good condition.
Planning to trailer it to WV, even though I'm not afraid to drive it anywhere anymore. My cost was parts and use of my friends shop and his services. A small price for the work done and the peace of mind is priceless.

Brad, did you keep the timing belt? Phil Manzak does a stress/pull test on them to find the breaking point. I just sent him mine. It had about 75,000 miles on it and looked like it was brand new. Congrats on accomplishing a lot and having peace of mind.

Yes, I kept it and sent Phil a PM to see if he wants it.
It feels good to be getting these things done. Not too many of us have this many miles on 1 Prowler.

Most of that work seems to be time related, not so much miles. Why the alternator?

Clay, I totally agree with you now that it is all done. Regular maintenance has kept it in outstanding condition.
The alternator has been noisy for awhile and in the last couple of outings, the check gages light flashed on at idle. Voltage was a little low, so for about $150 the noise is gone and no more reminder to check the gages.
The car feels more responsive and sounds good.

Glad you got 'er fixed up. I've only had a couple of alternators fail (not Prowler). Mine were not kind enough to give me a warning first!
