catfish, for the sweet thunder pipes you don't need the braces. have a look at the sweet-thunder web-site. the pipes are different then yours.....they are just like stayed pipes... |

if you read thomases post in new muffler,ie other post ,his sweet thunder cracked also,along with a couple others.sweet thunders are not immune from this problem.if you have any a/m muffler i would reccomend putting braces on it to avoid it cracking.website is bbexhaust.com--dont see the prowler listed anymore,i would email them or call them,since im sure they still can make one. ------------------ This message has been edited by catfish on 11-11-2009 at 08:35 PM |

Thomas replaced an SSS muffler with a sweet thunder. The Sweet Thunder did NOT crack also. |

You are correct Ed, his did not crack....If you look at the design it is no where near the weight on the pipes as the sss...I am very happy with the sweet thunder... |

Hi Frank....how long have your ST's been on your Prowler? Are they holding up okay? Are they the 18" or 24"?? Would you buy them again? I ask these questions contemplating purchasing them myself. Thanks, Brett
