This will probably be a no-brainer to most of you, but I heard some scraping & just noticed that my left front mud flap is about 1/8" off the ground, quite a bit lower than the right one. I can't seem to see any obvious reason for this. Anyone?

Center your steering and they will probably be about equal. The inside tire is always lower do to caster gain.

HOPEFULLY you were not backing up when you heard the scraping sound. If you were, you may have caught the mudflap with the tire and bent the fender bracket.

Don't panic too bad though. IF that is the case... Temporary trim the mud flap OR remove it. There is a person in Ohio that will straighten your fender bracket for a reasonable ($50.00.. Yes that is reasonable when considering trying to buy a fender and bracket.) Let us know if that is the case and we can steer you in the right direction. Good luck.. Brad

Stand in front of the car, about 25 feet away and look at the top edge of your fenders. If they are the same height you just need to trim the mud flap. If one is lower than the other one, check the bracket that holds the fender. It is painted black and if you caught the fender and bent the bracket, the angled piece toward the rear of the car will have cracked paint PROBABLY.
A local guy can straighten it out. You have to remove the bracket from the fender, however, which requires drilling out 4 huck rivets.
