I have Dunlop SP9000 on the front and soon I will replace the rear Goodyear EMT's with Dunlop. Any Suggections or reccomendations? Should I install wheels spacer? If so where do I get them? What are the pro & cons? Thanks, ------------------ |

Brian, I have Dunlaps all around. Ride is MUCH better. I also have spacers on the rear as it looks a lot better. BUT sometimes on HARD corning, they will rub.. slightly.. Not enough to hurt anything though. You will like the ride!! Brad |

I have a set of Dunlop 9000 on my 1999 Prowler and have never had a reason for spacers on the rear wheels. The ride is much better than the run flats. They also seem to corner better. Good luck. |

I am aware of the ride quality improvements...I can already tell a difference with the Dunlop's on the front. What does the spacer do? |

Brian, In my opinion, the spacer makes it look a little better from the back. The tires apear a little more narrow, but with the spacer, it just sets the tires out a little farther. I am not technical enough to answer how it effects other things. I just like the look better. The rear looks wider.. Ed's spacers are a good deal if you want some. |

I seen pics of cnotes Prowler with spacer and it looks like the side wall of the tire is outside the fendor which could throw stones and water every where. Can someone post a pic of the Prowler with Dunlop tires without the wheel spacers? This message has been edited by spoons on 05-21-2008 at 08:16 AM |

I have the sp 9ooo's and c-notes wheel spacers, love the look and the wider stance is great, only rubs a tad when really throwing hard corners, but i'm sure i'm the only one who drives my cat that hard, lol |

Spoons is taking my wheel spacers. There were a couple of others that wanted them if he passed on them. They are sold. |

Why would you need wheel spacer's? |

Jay, I guess it is suppose to "look" better with the spacers on. The spacer "push" the rear wheels out further making the back end look fatter. In the next few weeks I will be putting my wheels on....I will take photo of my Prowler with and w/o the spacers. Then you can decide. |
