I just installed my g force gears today. My speedometer is now not working. I checked the connections, and everything appears to be correct. Any suggestions? Not sure where to go from here.

Thanks,

Corey

If you are sure that the wiring is correct & you have good connections, Check the fuse?

Besides that how does it shift??

Hi Corey, I had a similar problem. You may double check the ground connection. Good Luck and ENJOY!!!

Turned out to be the ground wire. Thanks Brad for your call and help.

The clips provided by g force. Probably not the way to go. I soldered the wires together instead

Well, the car is not insured yet. Still winter up here. I did take it for a little cruise. Seems a bit faster, but I think I was hoping for more. Maybe its because I haven't driven it since October and forgot how slow the car was.

Whats your opinion on the gears? Were they worth it?

I think once you can get it WOT on dry roads & on the highway you will notice a huge differance.

I love-em, for me well worth the money.

I don't mean to offend anyone but I am amazed at anyone calling the Prowler slow. True it is not in the category of a VIper or a Corvette but even completely stock I would not call it slow. JMO

FYI if you hear a tight whining sound coming from the Trans that is normal with the gears.
