After watching lots of trouble with people and their Paxtons, not to mention fairly poor boost followed by another delay from Paxton, (where they didnt return my call for 2 weeks after it didnt arrive at last known ship date, had to call them until I got him) I have cancelled my order and Paxton will never see a dime from me.

So, although I dont really race her around, I am looking for a performance gain. Subwoofer is in the back, so nitrous is out.
Is one of those chips available for the car does anyone know? I have seen tons of overpriced items from gears to nitrous to the supercharger and wondered why spend all this money, all this aggrevation when there might be a simpler way? I mean its a Chrysler built V-6, there must be a chip available, right?

Tim, I have called Jet performance and Hypertech they both told me there would be No chip available for the Prowler. If you ever do find one Please let me know. and I will do the same.

I talked to superchips and they are working on a chip. They said it was hard to get to and change, I plan on checking with them every two months and will inform everyone when they are ready if they ever are.

Cool, maybe ill join in and hound em myself Keep us posted here if you guys here and I will do the same. Reading all I have read, I believe this to be one of the simpler upgrades with a good performance boost for the buck. Toss in some K&N filters and thats a couple of really simple upgrades.

Yawn, got the standard response showing the idiots cant or dont actually read their mail. Basically, I asked em if they would consider making a chip for it and I got the "we dont make a chip for that" response.

Guess ill reorder my supercharger, I am out of options and my Prowler needs more nuts

Tim,

Did you get the Paxton? Did you ever get any new info about upgrading the computer? I too would like to see this happen. Being the poorest Kat owner, I can't afford the charger right now. Not to mention the problems with low RPM boost. Gary C, am I almost there?

I asked the guy that does the chips for Camaros/Firebirds and he referred me to a guy named Ron Zimmer at Zindustries. I haven't tried to contact him, but I searched for a phone number and found 2 listings:
