It’s quite interesting the opinions and advise that you see on Facebook. And sometimes downright hilarious. 😂 |

I love all of the experts telling me how it was. I guess faulty memory. Having been there before it was an approved program, next to Bob Lutz when we had the production readiness meeting, to sitting across the table from the company president in the meeting where we decided to end production with the 300 candy cars. That meeting cost me a car, VON PRL 000001. It's on the Internet so it must be correct. |

All the new owners, the next generation are on FB and POA has only a couple of posts a day. I keep posting references to POA to get some of them to join here. We need to get the younger/new members to get with the program. A lot of turnover of cars, it seems. Buying a Prowler to flip it. A lot of the ads say they have owned it a year. WTF. And the vendors that are selling total junk (not ALL of them, of course). |

I will never be on Facebook. Somehow it would be good to figure out how to change this site. Its the people and the knowledge, helpfulness and camaraderie of this site that are hallmarks of the site and the car and, the people. Hope that makes sense. The GMMG folks have a similar issue we do here. Older site, knowledgeable users and people, but little activity. You can look at the SSR Fanatics site for an example of similar people and passion for the car, but in a modern format that really works. I don't know how or why, but that site is really really active as heck and incredibly valuable. The GMMG folks are trying to figure it out too. John |

I just found out yesterday that Dr. Dre pinstriped and signed the cars. I never knew that and without Facebook I probably never would have. So there is that. Lol |

quote: Ed,, Its Dr Ru [Rudy Kutey] who signed the cars. Dr Ru has been mentioned in hundreds of POA threads. Instead of > "I never knew,," as you stated, being the same age as the Prez,,,,, just say "I don't recall or don't remember"

It is too easy for ANYONE to start a Facebook group ! Each person thinks they have a Great idea doing so. With that mind set, it is very difficult to promote our website. -ie Plymouth Prowler Owners NJ/NY/PA - Plymouth Prowlers owners of New England & New York & New Jersey - plymouth prowler jr enthusiasts I'm an admin on the Plymouth Prowler Enthusiasts FB Group. In an attempt to try and keep the discussion somewhat reasonable, EACH DAY I approve members and posts. While only Members can start a topic, ANYONE can reply. I haven't found a FB setting to stop this.
Making POA PRIVATE will not work. Someone will just copy POA info and post it on FB. Possibly it is a simple as , instead of replying on FB, each time post a message -- Go To |

I got educated that the Silver cars are the Alexander edition cars. I always say I’m never to old to learn something😂😂 |
