In defense of the Bungles, they have never been really good. They show brief glimpses of brilliance followed by LOOOONNNGGG periods of feeble attempts at tackling, blocking, etc. Lots of really stupid penalties for at least the past 10 years, taking them right out of the game or at least derailing a good drive. I did expect them to be decent this year but they proved me to be stupid last night. Pathetic, embarrassing but we still have Marvin Lewis at the helm. Of course Dave Shula lasted almost 10 years here and he was pathetic, also. Some day we will have professional football here in Cincinnati. |
