One of the dates I saw was 1939.

The song was released in 1972, it is even ancient.

Padroo, Most of us "Old Timers" were born during the first half of last century. That probably makes us ancient. Like Lary, I remember most of those and a few more. Still kickin and loving life. Thank you for sharing.

The term "Baby Boomers" generally refers to babies born between 1946 and 1964.

Anyone born before that is just an "old geezer" IMO.
