If you're like me, the window "shutters" on my home are strictly for decorative purposes and are made of vinyl..... Over time, the sun "bleaches" and dulls the color of the shutters and they look old and the paint fades badly. A quick, great way to renew their original bright look without replacing them (or even taking them off of the house) is to simply wash them off and after they're dry, apply a coat of ArmorAll Extreme Tire Shine Gel. This is the same product used to get that great "wet" look on your tires when you're detailing it and so you'll find it at any auto supply store (or even at WalMart) and it's VERY inexpensive. It even comes with a foam rubber applicator (or you can use a small brush to apply it) and so you'll be finished in no time and you'll be very pleased with how it brightens up the appearance of your home. You simply apply it and you're done...No wiping or buffing required. BTW....If you have a painted door use this on it at the same time.....Everything will look brand new and it lasts for a year or more... Try it!
