I'm a native of the Azores islands, and this past week we just had the Rally competition there. One of the most trilling legs is the "Volcano Stage" this is where the guys race on the edge of an old volcano crater, it lends itself to spectacular images, the lagoons you see are actually inside the volcano crater. One wrong move, and those guys are in for quite a fall It always makes me proud to see events like these happen in my native island, and can't wait to bring my prowler there For those that are fans of rally, check it out |
