Has anyone brought a Prowler trailer into Canada as a purchase ?

I am trying to find out the procedure and paperwork required to bring the trailer into the country,,,

Any help would be appreciated..

Jim, you could have someone bring it in as a visiting trailer and accidently leave it here

or

It is subject to the RIV system:

Trailers WITHOUT a valid U.S. manufacturing statement of compliance label or letter from the manufacturer are inadmissible

It's actually not hard to do. You just need to have the proper legwork done. Here is a link to the RIV ( Registrar of Imported Vehicles)site.

Thanks roger... I will check it out... the easy way is to just get it here and claim it as a local fabricated unit....

but experience tells me easy is risky so I will do it the legal way...

Where would I get one of these ? could the dealer here provide one if they have the vin number ?

Check if it is already a sticker on the trailer. If not, maybe RPL could help. IF you call RIV, they could probably help you too.
