Here's what can happen when you have too much stuff and don't properly store it..

I give up, tried to load picture no go. My fault.

Thank you! Same idea except that this person's stash was above his prize car hung from the ceiling. Supports gave way and dumped the load......on his prize car.

Picture is shorter and more graphic but I can't even figure out how to email the picture and I send files all of the time. Go figure. Operator error, me.

I'll bet that that house has truss construction. You can't load a floor with truss construction or the obvious will happen....crash. We had a house in our sub have the whole roof cave in. The owner thought he could remove all the support 2x4's in the attic space. You guessed it, truss construction. His dime to replace all the trusses and roof! You should only load joist construction, but modern homes rarely use joists for attic space, costs to much!
