It seems several people are interested in my topic. I bought a Cadillac SRX for my daughter and traded in her car a 2007 Saturn Sky. They gave me 13K for the Saturn and part of the trade in was put down as a down payment 4K and they were giving me a check for 9K. My guess is they buried the $13k in the payments because they aren't going to just give up that kind of money. |

Most states have dealer licensing boards. If the dealer did something illegal or unethical, turn him in. If it was a sales person, give the dealer himself an opportunity to correct the problem first. If he doesn't correct the issue, then turn him in. It may stop him from doing it to someone else. |

Now they want a copy of my daughters Social Security card and a Utility bill with her name on it. When the deal i received went down it seemed to good to be true. Never in all the years that i have bought cars i never had a problem like this. |
