Here's a new product that I've been working on for some time. I will be producing replicas of the famous Cromwell Racing Helmets that were so popular with racers and hot rodders in the 1945-1955 era. The original helmets are very valuable and are extremely hard to find. Please keep in mind that the helmet on the left in the picture below is just my prototype. The helmet on the right is an original Cromwell. There will be many changes made before final production. I needed to see if I was on the right track before making the corrected final new molds and cutting dies. Is there any interest on the POA for a product like this? ------------------ This message has been edited by Larry Lord on 05-31-2007 at 09:04 PM |

Very cool Larry. Before now I've only seen them at the Indy museum. Nice work! |

Larry, will it be DOT approved for motorcycle use. I could use it for classic bike events. |

Fastback, Thanks for your comments. These helmets are almost impossible to find anywhere other than a museum. I expect to sell quite a few. Tangled, Kraut, This message has been edited by Larry Lord on 06-01-2007 at 11:46 AM |

The look and the feel is authentic. You will think it is the real "original" deal. The prototype I saw had some distress built into the finish to look even more authentic. |
