....Yesterday, I renewed my drivers license.... ....I've been a registered driver in the state of Ohio for 44 years..... ....For all of those 44 years my social security number has always been on my drivers license..... ....Yeterday, the pretty girl at the BMV who took care of my paperwork told me that as a result of new legislation my social security number would no longer appear on my license..... ....But;.... in order to renew my license next time.... ....I'll need to bring my social security card with me as identification and proof of my social security number....(I guess they're having second thoughts about who I am) .... Thats because for the 17 years I lived in the Buckeye state me and my whole neighborhood used your Social Security # till it was worthless.  |
