Just heard on the news that one of the high ranking Democrats had a stroke yesterday. I certainly would not gloat over something like that and hopefully he will be doing a lot better. However, the Governor of that state would name the replacement and the Gov. is a Republican and that would put it back at exactly 50-50 with Dick Cheney holding the deciding or tie-breaking vote.
