Last year 449,000 Californian's received a jury summons to which they replied..."I am not a citizen, therefore I cannot sit on a jury." The number one source for jury summons candidates is the VOTER REGISTRATION list. Think about that for a minute. |

Seems it was just a Facebook rumour.... https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/449000-californians-jury-duty/ Of course Snopes isn't necessarily correct but I would trust it more than a bunch of Facebookers. |

We all know the dmv sux! My way around that is to go to a small city office north of San Antonio. It is not in same county as my residence. When I get called for jury duty in the small town I return the summons saying “ not a citizen of that county”. The summons has that option on it. “ ...citizen of this county....” But I do believe that happens in Cali !!! Probably happens here south of me in brown town ...sorry ...San Antonio Tx ------------------
