I remember you mentioned in an earlier post about Ted Cruz being a good debater. This guy didn't stand a chance against him.

Now if he would of had if he had been interviewing the guy in this video the outcome would have been totally different. The undertones of this video the way I hear it is Ted Cruz doesn't want scientific fact to prove or disprove global warming. This is the head of NASA and Ted Cruz never shook him up and actually made him look real bad.

You got to be kidding me, he answered questions off the cuff and kicked your boy Cruz butt. Lol

He was a former Marine two star general. Semper Fi.

Padroo, Chicken Little and Al Gore all agree......THE SKY IS FALLING!...THE SKY IS FALLING!.......Don't confuse me with facts!...(And don't cut off those billions of dollars in Federal grants and appropriations)

NASA isn't a part of any grant, it is their satellites that are gathering most of the data.

The NASA Chief whipped Ted Cruz's butt and you know an experience debater like Cruz would not go into a meeting not being prepared.
If you watched the whole video this guy is a leader and not the least bit intimidated by Cruz. I like this guy.

"Mair only wanted to focus on a study that he agrees with, that says 97 percent of scientists say the earth is cooking or something and claims the science is settled and no longer up for debate. It was pathetic".

Mair's response to Cruz was to constantly refer to the study but offered no scientific rebuttal to Cruz's claims and questions.....

Global warming (and cooling) is a natural phenomena and human activities have a very miniscule effect on the earth's climate......Look at a photo of the earth taken from a satellite and then take a pin and poke a hole in the photo....That hole is probably the size of a major city in the US.....We just think we can control the world's atmosphere when, in fact, we have little influence IMO.

I agree that we should not pollute and that dirty air is unhealthy but pouring multi billions or trillions into trying to control the earth's climate is like pizzing on a forest fire.

Dale,,,,Did we watch the same video? OK, you watched it from your brain filled liberal viewpoints.

NASA is funded by the taxpayers through the Federal budget appropriations.

Many scientists at major universities and those in private industry are funded by grants to do studies of this bogus claim of global warming.

Cruz backed his claims with 18 years of studies that proved no major, significant changes in earth temperature averages have shown to have taken place.

The token Mair had to keep listening to the peanut gallery behind him, which was instructing him on what to say. Mair was extremely intimidated by Cruz,,,back peddling with the same answer without answering Cruz's question.
Cruz handed the token Mair his butt-hole during that exchange. Mair was painted into a corner that he didn't have the facts to get him out of.... One thing Mair is not,,,is a leader. Token job, token general, he looked ridiculous and out of place stumbling to answer questions.

Who is the real science denier?? You have head of Sierra " believing" human agreement, not the actual data ( science) .

As far as the other guy he was a cross between bill Clinton and carville !He rambled on incoherently or so it seemed .kinda of lulled me into " whatever dude" land!!
