This guy is probably one of the best comedians around and by far is the greatest political satirists ever...He is hilarious!

I love this guy's humor!

My only criticism of him is that a great number of Liberals who watch his show think he's being straight and delivering factual news!

God knows, many of their political persuasion can't tell cartoon characters from real people and so why would they not know when a comedian's act is a satire?

This is where they get their political news!.....

God help our nation of left leaning simpletons....

Bill O'Reilly gets in a parting shot at Jon Stewart and his liberal groupies....

Quote:

"Jon Stewart is being held captive by a self-imposed left wing view of society. That has served him well in the marketplace as his audience of young stoners and aging guys with ponytails lap up his snarky liberal talking points. I’m sure he would reply with a sardonic put down of my audience as out of touch white people, but then again most folks who watch me actually held a job at some point".

...Good one, Bill!....

The O'Reilly quote should come with the admonishment to always question his veracity. Daily Show viewers are more affluent and more educated than Fox and O'Rielly viewers:

Report: Jon Stewart Took Secret Trips to White House ...

Report: Jon Stewart Took Secret Trips to White House During Key Moments of Obama Presidency

by Daniel Nussbaum28 Jul 2015220

Late-night funnyman and Daily Show host Jon Stewart reportedly took several secret trips to the White House to consult with President Obama before key moments in the president’s tenure.

According to Politico, Obama requested Stewart visit the White House for coffee during the October 2011 budget fight, and again requested the comedian’s presence shortly before issuing a warning to Russia on Ukraine.

Politico’s Darren Samuelsohn reports:

Jon Stewart slipped unnoticed into the White House in the midst of the October 2011 budget fight, summoned to an Oval Office coffee with President Barack Obama that he jokingly told his escort felt like being called into the principal’s office.

In February 2014, Obama again requested Stewart make the trip from Manhattan to the White House, this time for a mid-morning visit hours before the president would go before television cameras to warn Russia that “there will be costs” if it made any further military intervention in Ukraine.

To engage privately with the president in his inner sanctum at two sensitive moments — previously unreported meetings that are listed in the White House visitor logs and confirmed to POLITICO by three former Obama aides — speaks volumes about Stewart and his reach, which goes well beyond the million or so viewers who tune into The Daily Show on most weeknights.

Love Stewart’s jokes or hate them, he has proven to be a unique voice who is capable of turning in-the-weeds policy discussions into viral video sensations that the country is still talking about the next morning.

As the White House recognized, Stewart can, at times, be a more potent influence on policy than Obama himself. The 52-year-old funnyman is widely credited with changing how the government treated military veterans and Sept. 11 first responders and for canceling a hyper-partisan CNN talk show. His broadsides against President George W. Bush’s Iraq war and a series of Obama missteps had a searing effect on how Americans thought about Washington.

http://newpittsburghcourieronline.com/2015/08/05/jon-stewart-meeting-with-obama-wasnt-a-secret/

NEW YORK (AP) _ Jon Stewart says his “secret” White House meetings with President Barack Obama weren’t so secret, and not that big a deal.
During his penultimate week as “The Daily Show” host, Stewart reacted to a Politico story headlined “Jon Stewart’s Secret White House Visits.” The article said Stewart had met with the president in 2011 and again last year.
“That sounds so much more awesome than what happened,” Stewart said on his show Wednesday night.
After joking about meeting with Obama “and Elvis, who’s still alive,” Stewart noted that he entered the White House through its public entrance and that both meetings were listed in the White House visitor logs, available for anyone to see.
“Something is not a secret just because you don’t know about it,” Stewart said, in a segment titled “When Barry Met Silly.”
He depicted it as an invitation few Americans would reject.
“By the way, to all future presidents, if you ask me to come to Washington, I will do that,” he said. “Because I have no idea how to react to that other than (say) `what time?”’
He said Obama encouraged him not to make young Americans cynical about their government, and Stewart explained that he was actually skeptically idealistic. Otherwise, he said the conversation was much like it was when Obama appeared on “The Daily Show” earlier this month, only with a very good lunch.
“Was the president of the United States trying to influence, intimidate or flatter me?” Stewart said. “My guess is, `uh huh.’ Did it work? Might have. Was it sinister? I don’t (expletive) know.”
Stewart said he frequently takes calls from all sorts of important people, with the general thrust of the conversation being what a jerk he is, although he used stronger language.
Only one person ended their meeting by saying he would deny ever talking to Stewart if the conversation became public, and the screen identified him: Fox News Channel chief Roger Ailes.
That may have been Ailes’ idea of a joke, since he talked about his discussion with Stewart in a 2010 interview.

Democrats hold advantages in party identification among blacks, Asians, Hispanics, well-educated adults and Millennials. Republicans have leads among whites – particularly white men, those with less education and evangelical Protestants – as well as members of the Silent Generation.

You don't have to live in a ghetto to be poor.

"Of the ten poorest counties in the U.S., the majority of them are primarily rural."

I figure that those counties have large % of American Indians (ones w/o casino gambling), Quakers, Amish, Manson like communes, illegal aliens, and other religious segments that show as low income because many don't even file a tax return ... living under the radar, working for cash, and not disclosing true income
