i see sooo many commercials for "wounded warrior project" that i had to wonder just how much of their funds go to actually helping vets...turns out...they are much like most other "charities"....big executive slaries...big advertising expense...short on actual direct help to vets..

see this link;;

i am not saying they dont help vets...just that most of their money goes elsewhere

I feel like you do ed, I like to give but to a charity that the money goes to doing it's intended purpose. I understand there are administrative costs and overhead but some are ridiculous.

That's really sad. Of all the people in the world that someone could cheat or steal from,it had to be wounded warriors...really? Why not just cheat children with cancer? How low can you go? That almost makes me sick. If you could take a trip to a VA hospital and see the results of people being blown apart, to help save the freedom for us all,and still cheat them out the help, I don't think there's room on this planet for you. You wouldn't want me to be your judge. I wish I hadn't even read this, very disturbing.

Doesn't appear that WWP is a scam, but a large amount of funds go to administration. They have admin and farm out services to other 501s that also have admin.

Have seen same with many groups other than Salvation Army. It appears Sal Army has low admin.
