Gun control in Chicago means not missing the target....which may well be you. The problem is that law abiding citizens can't shoot back making them easy targets. |

I don't expect anyone to believe this but I swear it is true. The lead story on the 11 PM news on Ch. 12 tonight was the community of Evanston (in Cincinnati) had a picnic today to celebrate 4 months without a homicide. They devoted 2 or 3 minutes to the story. Unreal. They are so proud !!!! They recently tore down an apt building that was CAUSING crime. Really, a building causing crime, not the folks living in the building but the building itself. I guess it worked since there hasn't been a homicide in 4 months. Do any of you have a record anywhere near as long as that or is that a new world's record. There have been shootings, but no one died. |

Now Ed, if they corralled all the folks they "suspected" of causing those crimes, and lured them into that building and THEN tore it down ... maybe THAT is how the crime spree has ended?  |
