Keep your eye on Waukesha, Wisconsin......Their biggest employer just moved out. General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing. In addition to moving the headquarters,the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers. This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year, but paid no taxes - the same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the United States. So let me get this straight. President Obama appointed GE Chairman Jeff Immelt to head his commission on job creation (job czar). Immelt is supposed to help create jobs. I guess the President forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs. Thanks Jeff, you're a "real" American....give Barrack our Best! If this doesn't show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I don't know what does. Please pass this information to others and think about it before you buy a GE product. Might also be noted that GE also owns NBC television. Any wonder that NBC NEWS is liberal leaning in it's reports?  Contrary to a previously reported post that I get my news from Fox News,,,,I watch NBC Nightly news with Brian Williams... because: 1. It gives me the slanted reports about how well BHO is doing every day in office 2. I want to be watching when the plastic surgeons are needed to remove Andrea Mitchell's lips off of O'Bama's butt cheeks the day he departs the office! 3. What better way to see the SPIN the liberals are putting out there to deflect the deserved criticism of their failed agendas. |

Unions I tell ya... You can't bring these companies back they are all gone! And nothing can stop other companies from doing the same. The union wages have forced these large companies to find other means to stay afloat. Most of GE has already been out sourced and this has been for years. Unions use to be good for this country. but the Union Reps got too fat, greedy and powerful. Some people need to wake up and smell the roses Unions especially! Phil, People can try to stop buying products that where made in the USA until they are blue in the face. But what would you be able to buy that is truly made here in the good old USA? That Union label that we are used to seeing along with the proud made in the USA label is becoming extinct. None of us that have lost our jobs, our homes our play toys likes this for sure. The best one is where the GM CEO states that 70% of the new GM cars made today, are made OUTSIDE the U S , & we bailed these people out ? I really hope people open their eyes come election, Mitt is NOT the best candidate, but we have to go with what we have. I can't speak for everyone, but have you had enough Hope & Change ? Any more HOPE, we will all be living in the streets, & CHANGE is where we send him packing. |
