It jumped 70 cents a gallon in just the past couple of weeks. I had no idea Geo. Bush had that many friends in Chicago. Kind of fitting that the messiah's home town folks are suffering the most. Keep in mind perception is much more important than truth when it comes to this guy. |

quote: Probably near that figure,,,but 53% of Venezuelans are poverty-stricken. Once we get our 48% poverty-stricken up to the 55% level, BHO may direct his oil stock friends/supporters, to cost the price? |

AC: Not sure when blend change to summer gasoline specs is effective in AZ. It is June 15th in Mid-Atlantic states. Even then is about 13-18 cents. For 30 cents there must be something else going on. Local option tax? New station opening selling below cost? |

Thanks Randy... At times,,,,Az is either way above national avg price, or below it quite a bit. Never makes any sense.

Reg gas here is 3.79 to 3.99. Changes a dime one way or another almost every day. I think Chicago was almost $ 5 a gallon, according to the article I read last week. |

Unfortunately that price fall will not hold. Rack (wholesale) price up 8 cents this week. Demand way off though, but winter/summer gas conversion starting in deep south in April and moderate climates in May. That alone is another 8 to 15 cents. Plus credit card fees are on a percentage basis (currently 2.8%) so as prices increase, card fees do too. At $4.00 a gallon that's 11 cents a gallon. Banks LOVE to see price increases....they make more $ for same effort. |
