If I'm a retailer that's going broke and last month I only sold $100 worth of merchandise, but this month I sold $200.....then government reports that retail sales have improved, right? WOO HOO! Things are getting better! If the government prepares a budget that increases spending by 25% more than the previous year and then they eliminate 5% of that increase.......They've "cut the budget", right? If the government claims that they will not increase your taxes and then they allow an existing tax reduction to expire (which increases your taxes).......they didn't raise your taxes, right? Think about it.....then vote on November 2 |

If one is to believe that only people making over $250K per year will see a tax increase,,,then you must be a fool. Only those making less than $20K per year, will see no tax increase. |

The government has a funny way of looking at numbers. For example, if this year's budget is $100 and next year's proposed budget is $200, and it turns out they only needed $150 for next year's budget, they report a budget reduction when actually it was a 50% increase in the budget. But hey, look at all that money they saved in reducing the budget by increasing it only 50%. We doubled the number of people that went back to work this year! YIPPEE!!!! (What they don't tell you is that only 1 person was able to find a job LAST year, and unemployment remains high.) |
