Millions to Understand Governor for First Time NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report) - One day after announcing that she would be a commentator on the Fox News Channel, the network revealed that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's appearances would be simulcast in English. "We are delighted that Gov. Palin will, for the first time, be understandable to the English-speaking audience," said Fox News chief Roger Ailes. "This should create a whole new fan base for her." Gov. Palin praised the decision, adding, "I know many Americans will be interested in understanding what I have to say and I will also too." In a related story, Fox said it had "no interest" in hiring funnyman Conan O'Brien, explaining, "Sarah Palin takes care of our comedy needs." |

Its more funny how the liberals continue to attack this lady a year after the election. Seems obvious,,,,they are afraid of her, and see her as a threat. She probably would have disappeared from the national news front, if they would have stopped their personal attacks towards her, and her family. Should Sarah come back to bite the libs in the butt someday, she'll have the last laugh. |

quote: That's how President Obama got elected. The repugs feared Hillary so much the spent 8 years demonizing her in the media. Obama with very little political baggage came in and looked tame by comparison. He managed to secure votes from Smart Republicans (I know, I can't belive I used the term myself) who realized McCain had no clue about the economic crisis we were facing. That all being said, I cannot wait for Sarah to run for Prez. The republican debates will be, by golly, you betcha, wink-wink, I'll get back to ya on that one,,,,,,, so exciting. ------------------ |

Say what you will about Sarah Palin but people are interested in her and what she has to say. When she was on Oprah Winfry last November, Oprah had here highest rating since 2007. The night she appeared on Bill O'Reilly on FOX news his already high ratings, jumped significantly From the Huffington Post Sarah Palin's debut was a ratings hit for Fox News. Palin's first appearance as an on-air analyst with the network, on Tuesday night's "O'Reilly Factor," drew 3.954 million total viewers — more than everything else on cable news in the 8PM hour combined. CNN's "Campbell Brown" placed second with 999,000 total viewers, MSNBC's "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" placed third with 906,000 total viewers, and HLN's "Nancy Grace" placed fourth with 704,000. It was also enough to beat ABC's primetime programs from 8:30-10:00. Not to mention her book sales Publisher's Weekly confirmed that she sold 700,000 copies of "Going Rogue" in its first week out of 2.5 million copies. "Going Rogue" sold 7 times as many copies at the book stores as "The Audacity Of Hope" sold in its first week, Nielsen reported
HarperCollins spokeswoman Tina Andreadis said Tuesday that just two weeks after publication, Sarah Palin's memoir has sold 1 million copies. The print run for "Going Rogue" has been increased again, to 2.8 million copies. The original printing was 1.5 million, then moved up to 2.5 million. Then it's you who has no regard for the welfare of the states. As long as you get a republican in office, no matter how unqualified, speaks volumes about yourselves. You guys can let her watch your back if you want, not mine. She can sell all the books she wants, as far a leader, your joking. edit, probably should not say "you" as in specific, sorry. quote: Wow, from not wanting any political posts and now going to spewing liberal garbage. How does the governor of a state with the highest approval ratings in the US, generating surpluses and extending the wealth to all taxpayers in her state translate into "unqualified". I think you are getting "unqualified" mixed up - Obama is the one with zero experience running anything and it is starting to show. |

I think the one thing about Palin is she is not your "typical" politician. She has a lot of life experience and is not a polished liar like most politicians. That is the CHANGE I want to see. Get away from the same old, same old. Break the mold. Try something new. I don't know why she quit as Governor and I don't think anyone else does, except for a few insiders. There may have been a lot more to it. At least we know SOMETHING about her and her past and where she was born, etc. It isn't ALL secret. |

She seemed ill prepared at times during the election. I bet IF she decides to try again, it will be a different story. She is different , no doubt. I want to see more, literally, before I say she is no good. For a while it did seem like she was a breath of fresh air. Maybe not up to speed, and ready then to lead the country, but not the same bs that drives me crazy. ------------------ |

I'm not a liberal, conservative, or any label you people seem to live by. It's nonsense IMO. What I'm saying is; to consider someone to lead our country, who took the cowardly way out and quit their elected office of leading a state, is lunacy. I don't care how quailed you may think she is, she quit, plain and simple. But I guess that's ok with you. Not me. Now, if you can read any "liberal garbage" in there as you put it Mr Finch, enlighten me. I would feel the same no matter what party she's from. I didn't say I approved of her leaving her post as governor. I said that calling her "unqualified" is liberal nonsense. Like her or not, she does have a track record that is far superior to most politicians in Washington. And.....virtually every politician running for a higher office either quits their existing position, or effectively quits because they cannot do the job while in campaign mode. The only reason they don't really quit is they want a job to fall back on in case they lose. Do you think Obama was fulfilling his sentatorial duties while running for President. Of course not. Was Coakley doing a full time Attorney General job while running for the Mass senate seat. Of course not. But lucky for her, she held on to the job. I think every politician running for higher office should HAVE to quit their existing position while running in full time campaign mode. Do you think any employer would let you campaign on their time for a job somewhere else |

Anybody who quits their post where there NO ELECTION forth coming is "unqualified". That is no liberal, conservative, leftist, rightist, whateverist nonsense. Her quitting voids everything she has done. She got starry eyed, and if elected will be very poor leader. So your saying she quit to run for office? 3 years in advance? That's pretty weak. She has no integrity |
