I personally think global warming is BS but this really is funny.... BTW....Matt Lauer was on TV this morning reporting from the North Pole at a place where he said the melting was most rampant....Someone asked him how cold it was there and he replied that it was "well below zero"......Dosen't ice begin to melt when it gets above 32 degrees?

Well, actually - because its salt water, the melting/freezing point is lower than 32F (somewhere just below 0).

I think the issue with global warming/cooling is not whether its happening (the earth goes through warming and cooling cycles), the question is how much we are affecting it. I'm kind of the side that its a bit overblown and probably more part of just the cyclic changes of the earth. Although, I'm sure pollution, etc., isn't helping the situation any.

NOVA had an interesting show about a month ago that actually showed some studies on global cooling.
