Chi, I never even venture to this part of the site, not ever. I guess it was meant for me to read your post, I made a mistake and clicked on it. Politics is opinion, I have learned that you can't control ones opinion. The sad part is all that you have stated, all was still missed by all. Again, Politics is a clever way to speak of racism. No matter what, the world will have to conform, whether it wants to or not. They will have to conform that I am able to get the same education and jobs. It will have to conform that I am able to obtain the same life style that they have. It is not Barack that has the buzz, it is the fear that one day we will come together as a race and not be ignorant as they see us. We will line up an unite. This is the fear, the fear of the positive that will come from it all. You are right, he is not getting no bed of roses, and he will not fix anything at all in 4 years. It took 8 to get it like it is. But they will condemn him for not changing anything in 4. But I had the same experience here in my neighborhood. I have been a State Trooper for 12 years. When I moved in my neighborhood, I had an unmarked vehicle. For 3 years no one would speak, until they found out what I did for a living. I was told that I was one of the good niggas. WOW! But I don't get mad at what one says, they are entitled to that. I have a son to raise to make sure he lines up with the world. The big picture is coming folks... and it has nothing to do with Barrack. Be worried about the hope that he gives that thug that has nothing to look up too. Barrack being the president does nothing for me, Congress runs the white house. Nothing has change, the talk is to keep us divide. The kept slaves divide so they could not learn. I like to read ones opinion, It allows me to know what they are thinking and what moves to make. So I say, keep talking. And re read what he is really trying to state versus responding to something else.

Congress runs the white house.

If this is true. Why is Everything for the last 8 years Bush's fault?

Give the man credit where it's due. His election has certainly helped one segment of the economy.

Typical Repug Answer: It's not, it's cause Clinton got a Blowj*b.

Correct Answer: For the first 6yrs of his pResidency Bush and the repugs controlled the Whitehouse and Congress and did nothing. Thank God they didn't put Social Security money in the stock market.

Chi_Town_Prowler...

Most of the folk on here are die hard in the blood so-called Red-state or "republican" folk. Their political inclinations are beyond reason. Same folk who swore by Bush, even as he took the whole country on a downward kamikazee spiral. It is futile to try to rationalize and discuss any kind of intelligible politics. They are the same folk who still swore again by Palin. The McCain/Palin ticket was pretty much about Palin, because there was a 2/3 chance she would wind-up running things. This woman had a frighteningly poor grasp of the issues. In a sense she was very much like BUSH - a myopic view of america and the world a whole, steeped in fundamentalist Christian religious ideologies. Part of a lost cause to make govt. more religious than it should be. Hell. I'm Christian and I don't even like these evangelist folk.

Me on the other hand I like to think I am of a new generation that is sick and tired of a generation that politically, I cannot wait till they all die off or get locked-up in some senior care. They are dinosaurs. Relics of and era who's mentality have no place in todays 21st century globalspace. A generation still stuck in post vietnam era ideologies. A genration who oversimplified definitition of american is written in two colors - Red and/or Blue. They have some sort of warped, disconnected idea of what is to be American. A misguided set of priorities. It's okay to dump $10 a month in a war even Bush still cannot explain the point of till this day BUT it's unthinkable that we should make an effort to fix social security (which would take something like $70 billion and a little effort). We're $1.6 trillion and counting in iraq. 4000+ brave soldiers, 120,000+ Iraqi civilians. The deficit has gone from $4 trillion after clinton to $9.5 trillion after bush. Conservative??? I THINK NOT! More like a confused and conflicted lot. They speak of american freedom so patriotically but will so readilly strip same sex couples' god-given american rights. I don't unserstand homosexualism, but I do unserstand that they are hard working, tax-paying americans like the rest of us and the govt owes them the same rights and previlleges. Truely a confused lot.

If you guys think this is about OBAMA, you are again confused. This is about us!!! I reflect a strong and growing frustration among the next generation of americans who are tired of the nonesense.

And yes, Anybody is smarter than BUSH, especially OBAMA! Yes IQ does make a difference as opposed to nothing! Don't like the name OBAMA??? Get used to it. This is America! Land of the free. You'd better recognize that!

It would be unpatriotic to speak against the president right??? Isn't that what "they" said whenever anyone opposed BUSH and is obscene ideas and policies???

Hate me if you will, but I'm just waiting till that generation dies off and let us take control of our own american future.

With that said I still love you guys as my fellow Prowler buddies however confused some may be.

We must always keep the dialogue open, else our great democracy dies.
