I got these push rods powder coated, would like to replace the ones I have on the car now. Anyone know why the bolts are different sizes? out of the 4, 2 are the same size, 1 is very long, and 1 is very short. Also, found this. Is this the only way to remove them? http://prowlercar.com/garage-corner/push-rod-removal/ This message has been edited by DrillinU on 02-10-2021 at 07:33 PM |

Looks like the bolts for the pushrod itself are both the same size. Catalog calls for 14 x 2.00 x 85.00. Maybe the bolts that came with those actually included one for the rocker arm? That center bolt is longer than the others, the one that runs through the sway bar link. Says the size on that one is 10 x 1.5 x 170. Just thinking out loud, but maybe you got one wrong bolt with them? |

Not yet, I think I will have the shop who installed my vertical doors, do the work. He is located in Bellport Long Island, he has a Prowler and had his front end chromed. probably next month when it warms up. Also, I think I have wrong bolts that came with the Push Rods. Several people told me it should be all same size.
