It is foggy, damp and wet outside here in Texas, so nothing is coming out of the garage today. I plan on spending Sunday as “Chrome Polish Day”, and work on some rims.

I don't know about the rest of the readers,,,,but I'm
watching the two NFL playoff games...

T-Rex,,, do you have a 90" flatscreen up on the wall?
If you don't care for football...you can watch Court Cam

GO CHIEFS! GO BUCKS!

The Bills have a good shot with QB Allen,, and the Pack
is playing in their frozen tundra...can't count them out either.

A/C, just a 70, I was testing out a new antenna last night so I could get the local stations in there.

Thanks Gary, I got a few things done today. But there is plenty to keep me busy on a rainy day.

Today was football day for me too.
Your garage is looking good Tom, I need to finish my back garage on the inside. It's 32 X 40 that I built back in the 80's. It's filled with cars and can't work in it unless I put a car outside so I can't do any long term projects.
Hope things work out for you Rich, take care.

Start up Sunday ran into a couple of issues! The battery on the Yellow Prowler was dead even though the tender showed good. And I flooded the Packard!

Sunday? Well, it snowed last night, melted today and warmed up nicely. We get dribbles of snow here in Atlanta. Amazingly, it was one day off compared with last year. Groundhogs be damned, that's the Blueberry Winter taken care of and spring is on the way. I did a little work on my Tiger 1050, washed the Trailblazer, baked a loaf of bread for later and serviced my Weber for action at sundown. There is some sort of Mickey Mouse version of rugby going down later so my neighbors are in a tizz, Green Egg full of ribs, lots of Ford 150's in evidence, an elevated vibe in the village :-). I think I'll go off and find a ball of steel wool so I can crochet a sight for my Colt? Something relaxing.

It’s a little too cold in the garage today, and everything outside is covered with ice. Did a little cleaning while the instrument cluster is out. Still searching the Internet for this size capacitor with the correct dimensions. Found some of the short fat ones, but not a tall and skinny one like what is in that spot.

This company is a good source of electronic parts.

What is written on the capacitor you are looking for. It is possible the replacement will look a little different than the one you have.

Also keep in mind that the important part is that you match the uF (microfarads) of the capacitor and that the voltage of the replacement is at or HIGHER than the one coming out.

For example if you need a 100uF 25v capacitor, you can use a 100uF 50v capacitor and it will work just fine. Just make positive that you match the polarity when installing the new one.

You can also check https://www.mouser.com/

Parts came in, look to be an exact match, both numbers and dimensions. Just need to find some time this weekend to try this fix out!

Well, not so lucky for the yellow Prowler, replacing the bad capacitor did not fix the same issue as the purple car. I have pulled the cluster back out and will go over the board to see if I notice anything else.
