The post about Tulsarama 2007 got me to thinking about the 10th Anniversary event. For newcomers and anyone else that has not seen this. This is a must watch video. Thank You Mike Gatlin for documenting this and many other Prowler events. For the first time ever Police stopped traffic on Woodward Avenue in both directions so well over 100 Prowlers could exit a parking lot located near the Dream Cruise epicenter onto North Bound Woodward Avenue in 2 minutes 38 seconds. Something I will never forget as long as I live. That is us in the Purple Prowler at 3:27. I have a lead foot I can assure you we did not stay at the back of the pack for long after making that turn. Because traffic had been stopped all north bound lanes were pretty much open. It was the fastest I have ever driven on Woodward Avenue.
