Not meaning to hijack this thread, but will 'any' 3.5L from the same engine family work? Could you get one for example from a L/H sedan? How about a reman engine from Jasper? Or other certified engine reman companies?

I agree,,,,, the 2000 forward to about 2004....3.5L 'aluminum' Chrysler/Dodge engine should be the same. Find a low mileage, wrecked car, that was hit in the side or rear damage and the engine should be good if stored properly over time.. jmo
