For the newer folks, you really ought to watch this video created by Karen Gatlin. Note how many folks are smiling.
This should help encourage you to attend the next event. They are ALL a lot of fun.

First, that couldn't have been three years ago, could it? Second, when is the armadillo coming back to the US? Is it safe in Europe?

Go back even further, how could it been 16 years since Larry Lord invited us to join him for Vacation in Deadwood ?

All the events have been fun and glad we bought the car so it knows where to go on vacation.

The first that I remember was Larry Lord's Grand Canyon/Route 66 event. CJ drove the Paxton Prowler off the floor at the SEMA Show and we met the group at Laughlin, NV. Paulie was sitting out front in an aluminum lawn chair with his wrapped Bush/Cheney Prowler. First time we met Ed Monahan and this guy named Gatlin all the way from Michigan. Yep, the car has created so many memories and great friends!

I’m very happy to be having a ball with all of you now but sad we didn’t get to start a lot sooner. Look forward to seeing you all in 2018. Jer

Ed,

This was a remarkable and superb event. Reviewing the event pics makes me wonder sometimes why I have sold all my Prowlers.

The Smokeys 2014 gathering was a birthday which I will never forget. Good to see all those familiar faces again.

Best,

Kees

Jer, Better late than never. You have to start somewhere. Always great to meet new owners and friends. With Prowler, you can go almost anywhere in the country and meet up with a like minded person. If you're headed somewhere post it. People will meet you along the way. Look at Dublin OH or Larry Lord. They share where they're going and friends show up. I think once Larry posted where he was headed on vacation and 75 cars showed up.

Keep in mind that Karen made that, no me. I was looking for something else and tripped on to it and was wowed, once again. The best part of the entire clip is that it didn't involve me on a motorcycle with a cape. lol

I went to that event and met a lot of new to me people.

After watching it I noticed a lot of people that I met at

later events and didn't recognize them until I saw the

video. It's just hard to meet everyone at one event that

is unless your name is Jer.

Great Video.

Yeah, Jer leaves an impression! He and Mary Anne are good people.
Fun event Ed. And with the fall colors it was spectacular. Thanks for doing that one. I don't care what they say, you're a pretty good guy too!! LOL

Alright you guys, knock it off , I told you I wasn’t sending you anymore money no matter how nice you are to me. Anyway, I’ve been too busy the last few days showing koolkty a good time out here in Tucson. He and Sally left today because our weather turned crappy, supposed to be only 60 here today. We’re freezing here!!! I would really like to thank Lou for making my week, I’m super excited about a trip to Tennessee this summer. Can’t wait to see all you guys again and that includes you too Ed. 🤠 Jer.

Yes, thanks to the POA I got my first chance to go 155 mph, thanks to Jer. Not in a Prowler; sorry to say (that would be amazing if not terrifying) , but in his Corvette. And Jer still has his license, at least for now...

This needs a bump and it has Austin in it. What a collage by Karen. OUTSTANDING. Several folks no longer with us, unfortunately. Thanks for the memories.

I am very sorry but I am going to have to drop this plan. I just can't do it physically. I have been feeling okay on some days and lousy on other days. I was hoping to have this figured out by now but I don't have high hopes at this point. When I told Sandy, she said "good". She is disappointed also but doesn't think I am up to it, either.
Again, I am sorry.

Ed , Sorry to hear this but I completely understand. Only those of us that have hosted an event understand the effort that is required. We are close to the same age and both apparently with health issues. I know that I physically could not do it or even assist in any way. Getting old is as they say a b&tch, but of course it beats the alternative. Hope you figure out soon what is going on health wise.
