The number of kids were down for us this year as well. Last year on Halloween night I had to run to the store to buy more candy. This year we bought extra and now have a ton of candy left over. We haven't had any kids for the last few years. It seems that kids were encouraged to go to private parties, school or church parties instead of door to door. Used to have lots and I did a lot of decorating, etc. Two years ago, I had two kids show up. Lots of work for nothing! Won't be doing that anymore. Went to Pam and Tom's house and helped her with decorating their yard and handing out candy! Had a great time!!! |
