Hi Prowler Gang!

I am trying to find a bracket for the right front fender (Part no. 4786184AB) ... it's the one that attaches the fender to the car (A-arm?) ...

One side of the bracket broke off at the weld ... the local Dodge/Chrysler shop welded it a few months back but it has broken again. The bracket has been chromed so I don't know if that makes it harder to weld ...

The whole right fender with bracket could be replaced (if I could find one) as part no. 4897744AC but it lists for big bucks ($2000 or so) ...

Help!

The chrome does not affect the repair of the bracket. Contact Dick Linneman at 513-922-5537 in Cincinnati, OH and he can repair the bracket. He is a expert at it.

I don't think the chrome is the problem. I think the A arms are made of some exotic metal, but my memory might not be correct.
Send it to Dick to see if he can fix it. If not, I can probably fix you up with one, but it won't be chromed. You are talking the passenger side, correct?

Ed,

If you can get the right (passenger) side bracket, I can have it chromed here in Northern California ...

Thank You!

We are talking about the fender brackets and not the a-arms. They are made of steel and can be chromed very easy by any chrome shop. This is a item I chrome all the time with my chrome front suspensions. If you want it chromed I can do it.

I have a complete R fender with bracket, black, that I will sell for $500. It has a couple of cracks on the outside edge and a scrape in the paint that runs a long the outside edge. East repair.

I don't know why I was thinking A-arms for the metal. Old timers.
