Wow - The commentors are such haters!

I'm sure none of them has ever driven one. Pathetic...

....many years ago our local Pontiac dealer ended up with 6, yes, countem, 6 FROG GREEN Azteks on his lot lined up in a single row...I stopped to look at another new car in the show room and he jumps his fat azz out of a chair and stops me at the door to redirect me to a green Aztek...I said, sorry, no, not for me...he looked at my 1969 Dodge Daytona and said, "your driving something that ugly and wont buy an Aztek" we had a few words at the door and I left...seriously, just a few months later he went to a bank in another town, shot and killed his wife who worked there and the police had to shoot him out of a tree...apparently, he wasn't wired right either, LMAO

The 1964 through 1967 GTO's were beautifully designed and were highly regarded as "muscle cars".....

In 1968 they began taking on a bulky look and began losing their popularity (my opinion)....US production of the GTO ended in 1974.

The name "GTO" was revived by an Australian company and the GTO was actually an import from 2004 through 2006....It too, was a "jelly bean" style and had little appeal and production ended in 2006.

I still love the 64 through 67...(I owned a '65 and a '67)

.....The biggest problem I had was that I was constantly being challenged to drag race but marriage and kids in the back seat nixed the urge.

1. Odd design? REALLY. How many folks think it is odd?
2. As time has past (I think maybe he means passed, but he is only a journalist so spelling doesn't really mean much).
3. The license plate holder really makes it look great.
4. I am being really picky to keep things consistent. lol

Most of the people that write these articles are reporters/writers. They most likely don't know much about cars, aren't gear heads and don't really know what they are talking about. They take a ride in the car and think they know it all......

I quit listening to them a long time ago.
