quote: The prowler has a really long hood. It needs something to break up that look. Side panels are something that everyone has their own opinion about. I like the louvered look. Jim Sutton panels have smaller side vents than some other types, that's what I like. The Prowler has nothing that says it's a prowler but the one rear bumper logo, I added the BMW lettering to stop people from asking me about what the car actually was. Side panels are purely a choice of the owner, I think they do cool down the engine compartment. I'm not a big fan of the black rear fender pad that acts as a rock guard. If I ever paint the fenders they won't go back on. This message has been edited by Gort on 06-19-2015 at 06:25 PM |

I think it boils down to just wanting to spend more money. It's a great feeling when you realize you are upside down and will never get the money back you've spent,at that point you can just dive deeper and deeper in the dark hole. |

I have the Speed Lingerie bumper and mirror COVERS and a skin tight brand bra and don't like to run at highway speeds without them. My Prowler is a 1999 and the bumpers on 99's are not black so the covers match my black car. I think it gives a stock Prowler a custom look. When you run into bugs like I did today, 400 miles at 75 mph it makes the clean up easy on the front of the car. A damp rag does the trick and you don't have to worry about your wax or scratching the paint and no stone chips. |
