VW is the company on the move. They're buying a bunch auto related interests. Fiats pockets are deep, I think they'll be here a while longer. At the rate we are supplying ISIS with vehicles, GM should be doing pretty well. |

Fiat is massive in Europe, producing close to 2 million cars /year. They won be going anywhere My mother has a 15 year old Fiat Cinquecento, that lady has smacked that car against every single surface available in the island, parked cars and innocent walls being her favourite. it has more dents than flat surfaces ... still going strong I usually try not to drive when I know she is out and about driving .... Bad taste in GM's mouth with Fiat. Back in the early 2000's Fiat's lawyers were smarter than GM's lawyers. That poison pill cost GM 10 billion to spit out. Not many know the debacle that occurred between Fiat and GM during that time period. It may have helped them (GM) in the decision to file bankruptcy....... |
