My thanks to everyone who answered my previous discussion thread. However, I think the whole subject of reproduction TGF side panels is a moot point unless there is a stated demand. So again here is the all important question: For those wondering about cost, let's speculate on approx. $900 (the viper panels are $850). All it takes is to have enough interest in these panels to make producing them feasible, then some sort of guarantee that the "Interested parties" won't back out once a potential supplier makes the commitment to go through the process. There are a few vendors on this site that have the expertise to and reputation to produce a quality product, but convincing them to take something on like this would need a firm commitment by enough people to make the venture worthwhile. |

I agree 100% with the previous comment. If I were an interested POA member/supplier, I would commit to a delivery date and ask for a up front deposit. |

I have talked to Gary about the TGF panels, Here is the deal. If you & other members can come up with 15 orders for the TGF panels, We will go ahead with this project. If 15 orders do happen, a $ 200.00 deposit will be required to show your interest. We do not want to build panels , then have buyers back away. If this should go forward, The panels will be of the same quality as the Viper Panels , with all hand laid fiberglass with the same quality you would expect from Garys products. They will have the same mountings as the Anyone who is interested, please post here and get a list going. Thanks Phil This message has been edited by phil2237 on 04-29-2015 at 06:26 PM |

I am ready to commit and put a deposit down on the panels; however, I need a total price to be established prior to making the commitment. |

Good point. Phil / Gary .... what would help to stimulate POA member commitment is knowing the final price of the product. |

I would have to say $850 to $900 just like the viper panels. They will be made of all hand laid glass, and also will be the only non factory panel that mounts just like the original. No clips or mounts to fuss with. Just the removal of 3 simple bolts. They are designed to fit just like the originals |

Phil How would this work? I mean when you get the 15 commitments is that when you send the 200. down payment prior to starting the project? Or must you send in immediately not knowing if here will be 15 commitments? Thanx. |

When we have 15 that commit to a sale, they can mail in a check. All money will be returned should the panels not be made. No Loss for anyone. All Gary & I ask, Before we put out a ton of our money, is that buyers are sincere. There is quite an investment for us to make these panels, and a lot of our time. |
