My Grand daughter loves it. Comes to every cruise night. My son is intrigued but more into modern luxury. Daughters won't get in it,,,,too flashy. My wife is happy that I'm happy and will attend cruises. Mostly it's just my passion. |

Our Prowler doesn't leave our house without my wife in the right seat. She is the keeper of all our cars except for my Prius. I do the maintenance but she is the detail person that washes and waxes the cars. She gets attached to cars for example her dad's 60 Buick looks like it is on the showroom floor in our attached garage. When she sees restored cars she is not impressed, she says if they were taken care of from when they were new they wouldn't need to be restored. |

My Son, Jason, claims the Yellow as his and usually drives it when we attend Houston events or take them to shows. My Grandson, Christian, claims the Go Karts! |

quote: So it's her car and you are simply the chauffeur While I agree that a properly cared for vehicle will usually remain in better condition longer than one that isn't, there are some area's that are simply not typically going to get the attention needed to keep it in "as new" condition. These area's are under the car where much of the dirt and salt accumulate. Unless a lift is available and as much time cleaning as driving is spent on it, the vehicle will inevitably deteriorate to some degree. I can see vehicles like our Prowler's more often than not remaining in great condition throughout their life than something that was purchased as a daily driver or grocery getter, as they are often not driven year round or in less than ideal conditions. |

I am involved in my Dad's Prowler hobby to the point of buying my own so I am able to equally share the experience. While the rest of my immediate family is not involved with the car, or show much interest in it, the previous owner of my car (and longtime friend of almost 50 years) often accompanies me to Prowler related events. My extended family (East Coast Posse) is very much involved in the Prowler hobby. |

My wife is into all our cars, but no cleaning or maintenance for sure. She goes to all Prowler Events with me. She will drive them occasionally, but not often. Whenever I say I'm thinking about buying another car, she says which one. It was 19 degrees yesterday, we were out test driving a 63 Thunderbird and looking at new cars. |

my wife tolerates me having one and does not like to ride in it. Especially now that she is pregnant she can't get in or out very well and my exhaust is too loud for her. |

My oldest claimed the Prowler, loves cars. when he was 3 yrs old, he knew what kind of a car it is by just looking at a glance. Loves when I do a mod on it, even gives his opinion on what else I "we" should do on it. Youngest loves the Camaro, he feels it's more safe with it having several airbags, and it being a hardtop. And all 3 of us drive in it. Unlike the Prowler they have to take turns. Ex-wife hates, cause it's all mine and she can't have it. |

My wife does not necessarily like it but puts up with it because of me. Rarely will she go to a car show with or without the car. However, she does love the POA events and all the people we have met though the years. This message has been edited by Simonsez on 02-01-2015 at 11:30 AM |

Can't sneak it out of the garage without her wanting to jump in. When I brought the second one home from Tampa Flordia, She jumped into the drivers seat & took off. If I new it was that easy to get rid of her, I would have bought one as soon as they came out.LOL Went to the first N.H.N.'s without her, she didn't miss another one. She's looking forward to Denver this year! |

My wife likes the car as much as I do. She's always ready to go for a cruise in it. After I bought it, she told me that without a doubt it was the most beautiful car I have ever owned, and that's saying something since that covers 40 plus cars over the years! |

My Golden Retriever used to accompany me and I got "double" smiles everywhere I went. You asked about family and friends; a dog is the best friend a man could ask for, so that counts. Yep, I allowed my dog to ride in my kat. P.S. I did raise the passenger seat for my grateful wife so she could see over the wiper blades. |

Arlene likes it as much as I do. She drives it often without me. Three Grandaughters just love it. They love it when I can pick them up from school. Arlene's grand daughter calls it the candy car. My 66 vette and 70 Gsx have about grown to the ground since we got the prowler. |

My Dad wanted one when we went to the Detroit auto show in 99. He sat in the car at the show but couldn't get out of it. So he bought the new pt cruiser instead. Dad passed 3 yrs ago so I bought the prowler he always wanted. My wife likes the car and the shows because I like them , my kids don,t care. |
