I just got a new toy delivered. The George Maxey prowler has found a new home. I'm having trouble with my computer but maybe AC will post the pictures for me. |

Congratulations! Enjoy your new Prowler. I saw the car up close in Detroit while George was showing it. If I remember correctly, I stored his truck and trailer while the car was at Autorama. |

Congrats on the new toy. I have seen this car in person several times and it is awesome. I am curious. Did you get the front fenders with it? When they were on the car they were painted the same as the car and as I recall they were slightly modified. |

No, the fenders were not on it. The paint is still probably a 9 out of 10. I'm hoping to put clear bra on it to protect the paint job. I won't be driving it a lot but do plan to drive it some to car shows and the like. I would like to make contact with George Maxey if anyone has any contact information I would appreciate it. |

That is really a DOUBLE PARK LIFT I have 100s of pictures George sent me when I did a calendar back as he was just finishing up the car. Not sure where they are, but he sent me a bunch I have never seen it in person but the pictures are beautiful I know a guy that owned it after George but he just got it to flip. |

Phil, I'll leave those three down in AZ. The gold Prowler will stay up north. I purchased the Maxey prowler in Houston. We spent a couple of days there and was treated with great Texas hospitality by the couple I purchased it from. While in Houston, my wife and I were able to tour the Prowler collection of Mike and Judy. What great people and had a wonderful visit with them also. |

Thanks Larry and Lethia for posting all the pictures. It still looks great but probably not quite as nice as those pictures from about 10 years ago. Hopefully I can get it restored to nearly that condition again. The garage is in Chandler, AZ. A garage condo with lots and lots of nice car collections. |

I was able to make contact with George Maxey today. We had a nice conversation and he was helpful in answering some of my questions. Now I would like to make contact with any of the other previous owners. If anyone on POA who might know any of the other previous owners could give me their contact information I would sure appreciate it. Thanks, |
