Drove the Kat yesterday for the first time. Drove about 100 miles, now I know what you guys and gals mean by Miles Of Smiles. What a fun car to drive. Definitely not going to be a garage queen. Merry Christmas all and a healthy happy New Year. This message has been edited by Landscape Doctor on 12-21-2014 at 07:52 AM |

Welcome to the club! You'll also recognize why many owner give away toy Prowlers because of the interest people show when the car is parked or on display. I did over 60,000 of them before backing away. |

The cars do take a little getting used to but it as you have discovered nothing but pure enjoyment, congratulations. I bought mine in 2008 and have put 35K on it since then and intend on many more miles of "Prowler" smiles as time goes on as I expect you will too. Enjoy the ride. |

I have read many articles that claim the Prowler was one of several cars that should have never been made. I bought my 2000 in December 21st 1999. 16 years today, I have had this car since new, It is the only car I have kept this long and enjoyed. Even after 16 years, the heads turn while driving. Still a garage queen at 18,000 miles. For the writers that down the Prowler, I believe they are just jealous they never owned one. This message has been edited by phil2237 on 12-21-2014 at 09:23 AM |

We have also owned the Prowler longer than any other car. We purchased it new April 15 1999 and now it has approximately 42K miles on the clock. This is not only the most fun car we have ever owned and driven just on its own, but even more than that, the blessing of all the new friends it has brought to us from all across the globe is beyond measure or value. We feel our Prowler Friends are extended family. |

BillyC I used to pull group purchases together for the people at POA. Typically the minimum purchase was 5K of a single color which is roughly 70 cases. Maisto isn't real excited about that small an order and they typically package a lot of different models in a case not just one car. Like the hoses that I do today, someone else started it but kept it going. The problem with group purchases is that everyone wants one until they arrive and you end up having to resell about a quarter of them. |

This way the seller does not end up with product and a hole in his pocket. When someone pays for a product that they do not have yet you know they are serious and expect the product when in comes in. |

Ed, Here's the question. How has your car held up. As expected? Any reoccurring issues? |
