I noticed a tag on some prowler trailers. Tennessee doesn't require a tag on a trailer unless you pull it out of state. Do trailers in your state require a tag for instate use? I saw Texas and Ohio tags. Tennessee tags are $24 ,not sure about a trailer tag,I've never bought one. This message has been edited by Gort on 10-29-2014 at 06:26 PM |

Until a few years ago I was under the impression that all trailers required tags but learned some states don't require them unless pulled out of state. Talk about a lost opportunity for recurring revenue. |

a sticker on the trailer tongue is good for life in mn. when you come into mn from another state they will honor what your home state law is for trailers. |

No tag required in SC; however, where I live, to store the trailer it must be registered and tagged. A one time fee for a permanent tag. My kat and trailer are registered in MD and I have a "vanity" tag on it as tags are required in MD. |

In Michigan you buy a trailer plate for $75.00 which is good as long as you own the trailer. When you sell the trailer the new owner has to buy another one. |

AZ requires trailer plates. I chose the lifetime plate. You can get one and pay every year but the lifetime one made sense for me. |
