Please, someone make and offer the Howler truck bed, I sadly do not dare undertake such a project but would love to transform my Prowler into a Howler!

93 views shows some interest

C'mon, somebody please step up and make one.
I would try if I had spare rear side panels (and skill!)

I have started one but got sidetracked with life. I still plan to complete it one day.

Dex anything can be done it's just a matter of time, patience, and with anything prowler a lot of money and having a good fabricator.
Your looking at a one off custom job if you want to do it. Just as the folks from Chrysler did in the design shop for the "concept".
You have structure work, frame work, molding, need a doner car, 1 Of 1.

If you can get the structure and frame right things like aluminum on a prowler can be molded and formed but it's not easy

If you Dream big, have deep pockets and patience any thing is possible. Living a Howler dream done right will cost you more than getting a 2nd one with low miles.

Here's a donor.....all you need is the back end, so tell them to cut in half behind the seat line, and they can keep the rest.

if you have the skills, equipment and time, it would cost next to nothing. Of course, you would not be changing the existing trunk floor but you would be gaining a lot of space.I estimate you would end up with about 3 or 4 times the volume of a weekender.

I never implied it would be easy, just trying to stir some interest and at the same time checking if something was in the works.

Catfish, I expect it would be Worth 4-5k for a bolt-on kit, probably less for the skilled body guy doing a one-off in his spare time.
Some vendors are making trunk lids, side panels, etc... none of which require modification to the structure of the vehicle, the truck bed could hopefully be done the same way?

Who knows, I may end up finding the courage to get going...
